Amenities

Cave B Resort is blessed with an environment naturally suited for wonderful amenities. We strive to provide amenities that will enhance your experience by taking advantage of the signature Cave B views, indigenous landscape and materials you won’t find anywhere else.

Cave B Estate Winery

Our award-winning boutique winery offers a wonderful wine-tasting experience for wine novices and experts alike, as well as wine-oriented classes and activities designed to increase wine knowledge while having great fun.

Bicycles

One of the best ways to explore every corner of Cave B is by bike. Cave B Resort provides a limited number of comfortable bikes for guest use at the Inn’s front door. Hop on a bike with your significant other at your side and enjoy an up-close look at the widely varied views and vegetation at Cave B. Please fill out a release form at the front desk, grab a helmet and explore.

Bocce Ball Court

Situated between the Desert Yurts and Cave B Estate Winery, the Bocce Ball Court sparks friendly competition. Bocce balls are available for guest use at the court; will you choose black or red? Play several games and see which is your lucky color!

Chef’s Garden

Spreading east from the Inn’s main lodge is an abundant garden of edibles. From carrots to beets, tender salad greens to a wide variety of berries, the Chef’s Garden is a beautiful area around which to wander. Take a look at what’s growing and you’ll have a very good idea what you’ll be seeing in Tendrils Restaurant that night.

Cave B Resort Buildings

Every building on the Cave B grounds is both unique, and uniquely tied to its location. Take your time visiting the Resort’s main lodge, the Cliffehouses, the Cavern Rooms and rooftop, the winery roundhouse and the Cave B Estate Winery cave. Notice the vast amounts of property-derived basalt rock which created the walls of the structures, as well as the shale which lines pathways and outlines gardens. A walk among and through the structures at Cave B provides a true sense of what Cave B is all about: a destination intimately tied to, and in keeping with, its environment.

To view:

  • Cave B Resort’s Main Lodge: Salvaged wood floors, basalt walls, old vines on the south wall, locally-made reclaimed iron and glass chandelier (made from recycled farm machinery)
  • Cavern Rooms, entry halls: Basalt rock cliff face, basalt siding
  • Pool Area: Trellis poles (reused Grant County telephone poles), basalt terrace floor, indigenous plant life, recycled water in waterfall and stream
  • Cave B Estate Winery Cave: Sod roof, salvaged wood doors, decorative reuse of wine bottles (south and west sides)
  • Cave B Estate Winery Tasting Room: Tasting room counter (made from recycled wine barrels)
